During June 2023, my team and I were tasked with creating a commercial for a crossover between Hot Pockets and Hot Ones, the chicken wing-based talk show. Through a round of storyboarding, we ended on a concept that centered around guests eating their Hot Ones-inspired Hot Pockets, and then turning into 2D animated cartoon characters - or at least their heads, with some 2D fire and smoke elements added in. My role was not only storyboard artist, but concept artist as well. Below are some examples of art that was created during pre-production on the project.
